A History of Exceeding Expectations

1989

Shiva and Ali Cleoei Sr. incorporate the company and opened the doors to their first retail flooring store in Sterling, VA under the name “US Carpet & Rug” where they specialized in every kind of flooring including carpet, tile, laminate, and hardwood.

1994

US Carpet & Rug becomes a franchisee of Abbey Carpet & Floor (Abbey Carpet at the time) – a national buying group franchise headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida. The national buying power of 800+ stores nationwide allowed us to offer nation brand names at lower prices to consumers

OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT

The next generation of the Cheloei family, Ali Jr. & Amir, are taking the reigns and will build on the foundation their parents laid for them for decades to come with the same grit and audacity as their predecessors. They are currently investing in client experience research, augmenting their footprint in the commercial market and aspire to add more divisions to the Abbey brand.
